"So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do" Ephesians 5:15-17 In times such as this, we have sooooo much free time. It is so tempting… Continue reading Invite God In

Is God Just Your Routine?
With life slowing down, almost to a halt, we have been thrown out of our normal routine and forced to explore our hobbies and interests... and basically anything that will entertain us. In the beginning, I was struggling greatly to stay productive, and keep my priorities straight. As I was face-timing my discipleship partner, I shared these struggles with her and she responded by saying, "I agree, and I've struggled here too, but it's so convicting because I've realized: God shouldn't just be our routine." Whoa. Talk about convicting.
The Final Word
The Easter holiday is one of my favorite to celebrate. Watching The Passion movie, decorating Easter eggs, spending time with my church family, and always learning something new about my Savior. Unfortunately, with the COVID-19 pandemic, celebrating Easter has felt different.
(Don’t) Follow Your Heart
"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 It's about that time of year again. The month where we celebrate love and all the chocolatey goodness it entails. Valentine's Day is one of my favorite days to celebrate. Don’t fake it, Own it!

But the sunset was just… Continue reading The Meaning Behind the Distraction

Great is Thy Faithfulness
Disclaimer: This is not really an organized blog post... more of an expression of my thoughts as I reflect on Hurricane Michael :). Hurricane Michael hit my home town on October 10, 2018. Bay County had little notice and little preparation. This hurricane is the worst the Panhandle has seen and has caused the most… Continue reading Great is Thy Faithfulness
Think. Dream. Lead.
I want to start off by saying thank you. Thank you to those who have supported me in my leadership journey in any way, shape, or form. This is only the beginning. You have helped me get a head start on life. Thank you for all the life skills you have taught me. Thank you… Continue reading Think. Dream. Lead.
Bittersweet Goodbyes
When the "bitter" is greater than the "sweet" Romans 15:13 (ESV) May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. ~~~ You know the goodbye that’s not really a goodbye? Not the one when you say… Continue reading Bittersweet Goodbyes
